#best09 - Best article

I thought about this for a while, unfortunately I can't think of an article that really stood out for me.

#best09 - Best restaurant experience

This year, I had the pleasure of eating at one of Pittsburgh's famous restaurant: Primanti's.  Not only is it famous in Pittsburgh, but it has been featured in several food and travel shows/magazines.

I had a roast beef sandwich - complete with the coleslaw, fries, etc!  Who knows what else was in there?  It's like a heart attack in a sandwich.  :)  Anyway, I went with my family and one of my closest friends.  It was a fun experience for all, as we had never been there before.

#best09 - What was your best trip in '09?

Earlier this year, we decided to leave Florida and move to Pittsburgh!

It was by far, the best trip of 2009.  I lived in Florida for most of my life.  Then somehow, I ended up going to college in Pennsylvania.  For some strange and impulsive moment, I thoguht it would be a good idea to move back to Florida.

Unfortunately, things didn't happen the way I had planned.  I wasn't happy there.  I didn't feel that there were many career opportunities for me.  I was sick of the heat and humidity.  I didn't like the fact that Florida lacked four seasons.

Also, since I grew up there - I felt as I had seen everything. I felt that once you've seen it one time, you've seen it all.

So ultimately, my boyfriend and I decided to trek back to Pennsylvania.  I can't tell you how much happier I've been.  I love the fact that there are so many things to do.  I love the mountains.  I love the fact that there's actually a winter (although, I'm not fond of winter driving!).  I love being here.

Moving to Pittsburgh was definitely the best trip of 2009.  :)

Sing like you think no one's listening

I heard this for the first time when I was sitting in the cafe in college.

c'mon you, come dig right into my heart

C'mon Through by Lasse Lind and the video from the Korean drama, Soulmate. It's fitting with my little bouts of emo-ness lately.

Goodbye, my almost lover

Not sure, but I'm totally feeling this right.  Down, I feel like there's an empty spot in my heart.

Eternal Newbie

The beginning of yet another chapter in my life.
